Board Membership

Mandate

The executive of CCMTA is made up of a fifteen-member Board of Directors, each representing his/her government who meet a minimum of twice a year to attend to the overall management of the organization and determine policy direction. The Board is responsible for providing overall guidance and specific direction to the standing committees. It reports to the Councils of Ministers and Deputy Ministers through the President of CCMTA, who is also chair of the Board.

Each of the three standing committees of CCMTA comprises officials from each member jurisdiction, who meet twice a year to deal with a broad range of short and long term issues within their designated fields. The Standing Committees, through their respective chairs, report to the Board of Directors. The chair reports consist of, at a minimum, committee priorities, recommendations and work plans.
