1. To identify issues with the IRP, that impact the effective administration of jurisdictions’ safety programs in Canada and compliance with the National Safety Code, relating to the operation of long term rental/lease vehicles in jurisdictions they are not based plated in;
2. To work with all stakeholders on any proposed language amendments to articles in the IRP on this issue;
3. To develop viable solutions to any issues raised with both CCMTA and IRP; and
4. To submit to the CCMTA Board of Directors alternative language for a ballot relating to long term rental/leases for submission to the IRP Inc. for future consideration by jurisdictions.
