At the May Annual Meeting, D&V held several discussions on the balance of time and effort spent on driver versus vehicle projects. Committee members formed a strategic work group to review all existing vehicle projects, current national policies and emerging issues in order to prioritize the vehicle-related work.
Several challenges are facing administrators, including unusual new vehicles, imported vehicles and altered vehicles. The group also wants to work towards all jurisdctions implementing IRE vehicle initiatives
