The CCMTA Associates' Award recognizes outstanding Associates who have made significant contributions to CCMTA’s mission by advancing road safety, motor vehicle administration, and industry–government collaboration through exceptional engagement, subject matter expertise, and meaningful participation in the Associates Program.
Nominations for the CCMTA Associates' Award can be submitted by CCMTA government members in good standing, including members of the Board of Directors, Program Committees, and Working Groups and CCMTA Associates.
Criteria:
Candidates must be an active Associate in good standing with CCMTA. This includes individuals, small businesses, or organizations who have actively contributed during the relevant period.
Nominee’s activities/initiatives should:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing CCMTA’s road safety and motor transport administration goals through strategic engagement and collaboration.
Show meaningful contributions of subject matter expertise, such as participation in committee consultations, providing input on key files, or supporting CCMTA or CCMTA member initiatives as invited SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
Highlight unique or innovative efforts to foster cooperation between industry and government, such as through consultation opportunities, networking, or highlighting areas for discussion.
Clearly illustrate the impact of the contributions, including any outcomes, feedback from CCMTA members, or benefits to shared safety and regulatory objectives.
Align with CCMTA’s broader priorities, including enhanced stakeholder collaboration, innovation in road safety, and support for the CCMTA Strategic Plan.
Focus on contributions made within the past calendar year.
Nomination Requirements:
Nominators must be CCMTA government members or associates in good standing.
Submissions should describe the Associate’s contributions with a maximum of 2000 words.
Submissions should include supporting materials such as illustrations, examples of input provided, project summaries, or any available evaluation/feedback where appropriate.
Recognition
Recipient(s) may be recognized at the CCMTA Annual Meeting.
Recipient(s) will be notified in advance.
Travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the award recipient(s).
