CCMTA Road Safety Scholarship

CCMTA sponsors a scholarship via the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Foundation called the CCMTA Road Safety Scholarship.

Established in 2010, The CCMTA Road Safety Scholarship provides financial support annually to students pursuing studies in road safety disciplines. The CCMTA Road Safety Scholarship is managed and administered by the TAC Foundation.

Application Process and Timelines:

Applications are open annually from December 1 to February 28. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements set out by the TAC Foundation in order to apply.

The scholarship is competitive and based on the applicant’s specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills.

Recipients are determined by the TAC Foundation and are announced in July-August.

Recognition:

CCMTA will communicate and advertise the CCMTA Road Safety Scholarship and its annual recipient prominently in CCMTA communications (including our newsletter, website, social media) and may be acknowledged at the Annual Meeting during the awards and recognition ceremony.
