Located in downtown Edmonton, the Westin Edmonton Hotel connects you with the local Arts District, a few minutes' stroll to Rogers Place and Ice District, restaurants and outdoor activities, and is the official host hotel for the 2024 Annual Meeting.

A block of guest rooms is available for registered CCMTA Annual Meeting delegates at preferred rates. We highly recommend that you reserve early to ensure you receive the conference rate.

Group Rate: $220-$275 per night single/double occupancy. Subject to availability* 

The deadline for reservations is April 30, 2024. We recommend making reservations as soon as possible in order to secure your accommodations. CCMTA cannot accommodate attendees once the room block has been filled or the deadline has passed.  

Note that in the event you check out prior to your reserved checkout date, an early checkout fee will apply.  To avoid an early checkout fee, please advise the Hotel at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay.   

For those who plan to arrive early or stay longer, the CCMTA group rate may be available two days prior to and after our meeting dates, based on hotel availability. 

Important Note: CCMTA does not endorse the use of any third-party booking companies. All approved service providers are clearly communicated in our event materials. Attendees should be aware of the malicious practice of room block poaching where third-party companies misrepresent themselves as being associated with an event to solicit attendees for room reservations or gain access to personal information. Airfare

Ground Transportation
Edmonton International Airport (YEG) is located approximately 30.6 km from the city centre and the hotel hotel.  Delegates are responsible for their own transportation to and from the airport. 

Taxis and other Ground Transportation 
Edmonton International Airport has partnerships with several taxi companies. These taxis are queue outside Door 9, on the Arrivals level. Taxi drivers who want to work at YEG must complete the Blue Tag Taxi Ambassador Course to do so. When you see a taxi driver with a Blue Tag, it means they have successfully completed the program. An orange tag means the driver is in training. Other taxi companies or drivers may drop off or pick up passengers in the commercial taxi area, if prior arrangements are made. Taxi rates are set for transportation to downtown. Approximate Taxi Fare from Edmonton International Airport (YEG) to The Westin Edmonton: Flat rate of $62.00 (one-way). Drive time is approximately 35 minutes.

List of approved YEG taxi companies: 24-7 Taxi Line, Airport Taxi Service, Co-op Taxi Line, Greater Edmonton Taxi Service (Barrel, Checker, Prestige, Yellow), Air Limousine, and SunDog Transportation. 

Ride-sharing is also available in Edmonton via Uber and Lyft.  

Car Rentals 
Most major car rental agencies operate out of the Edmonton International Airport. They are located on the ground level of the parkade, outside Door 8. We recommend planning ahead and booking early where possible.

Hotel Parking 
Parking is available at the Westin Edmonton for hotel guests. The following rates apply:   

On-Site Parking: $38/day   
Valet Parking: $50/day 

Please note there is a Maximum Height Clearance for parking at the Westin Edmonton:
5’11” on level A,  5’6″ on levels B, C, D.
